400 Drum MIDI Patterns
Four-bar patterns: 60 kick, 60 snare, 60 closed hi-hat, 40 open hi-hat, 40 percussion, 40 rim and clap, 80 full drum grooves and 20 fills. MIDI files are supplied separately from the MPC Expansion Builder input.

One audio demonstration per MPC kit, prepared for browsing and previewing the expansion.

Additional Source Material
103 melodic sample sources, 76 melodic instrument WAVs, 73 jazz bass WAVs, 154 atmosphere/FX WAVs and 412 drum WAVs contribute to the build. These are included within the total WAV count, not additional unique assets.

SPRIT DA FINESSE expands the traditional MPC kit workflow into four dedicated sound environments.

Start with THE FOUNDATION to build the rhythm and rearrange the melody. Add organic jazz bass through THE LOW END, introduce cinematic depth with THE ATMOSPHERE and reshape your arrangement using THE DESTRUCTION LAB.

Every bank serves a specific creative purpose, allowing producers to move between beat construction, instrumental performance, ambience and experimental sound design without constantly switching programs.

The included MIDI library adds another layer of flexibility, making it possible to combine independently programmed drum patterns and create new rhythms from the available sounds.

The result is a versatile, sample-driven workflow built around dark underground hip hop production.

BANK A — THE FOUNDATION
Pads A01–A08: kicks, snares, hi-hats, percussion and accents. Pads A09–A16: eight melodic chops for playing, rearranging and rebuilding the musical foundation.

BANK B — THE LOW END
Pads B01–B16: a dedicated jazz bass performance bank with 16 bass pad assignments. Musical tuning and note relationships require final MPC testing before claiming fully chromatic tuning.

BANK C — THE ATMOSPHERE
Pads C01–C16: ambient textures, drones, instrumental layers, vinyl character, tonal elements and cinematic atmospheres.

BANK D — THE DESTRUCTION LAB
Pads D01–D16: processed sample variations, reverse chops, pitch effects, experimental textures, impacts, scratches and transitions.

Four-bank workflow
Each kit follows a consistent four-bank layout designed for intuitive navigation and experimentation.

44.1 kHz PCM WAV audio, with 16-bit and 24-bit files in the current build.

Target delivery formats
MPC Expansion (.XPN), MPC Program files (.XPM), WAV audio and Standard MIDI Files (.MID).

Compatible versions of MPC Software and supported standalone MPC devices.

The WAV and MIDI content can also be used independently with compatible DAWs and samplers.

Final compatibility claims are subject to testing the packaged expansion in MPC Software and on supported standalone hardware. Compatibility with every MPC generation or completed hardware testing is not yet claimed.

Current automated build checks
80 generated XPM programs; 5,120 mapped pad assignments; 2,038 WAV files; 80 generated kit previews; 400 MIDI files; XML syntax and sample-reference checks completed; Builder delivery archives verified for integrity.

Outstanding before release
Native MPC Software and standalone playback verification, final musical review, bass tuning, program-level effects and routing validation, and commercial source-rights approval. These checks have NOT been marked as passed.

Status: pending final clearance
The intended commercial licensing model follows Soul Chemist sample-library licensing policy. Redistribution rights for all source recordings must be confirmed before describing the entire expansion as royalty-free.

Do not advertise this product as 100% Royalty-Free until the source material and final license have been approved.

Once approved, insert the finalized Soul Chemist licensing terms, including permissions for musical productions and restrictions on redistribution of the source WAV, MIDI, XPM and XPN files.

SPRIT DA FINESSE draws from a curated selection of raw drums, melodic recordings, jazz bass phrases and atmospheric source material.

The audio collection contains melodic chops, creative resampling variations, alternate drum articulations and experimental effects.

The expansion prioritizes musical imperfections, organic performance character, dark harmonic material and rugged hip hop drum textures.

Its four-bank structure allows producers to use the same program for drums, chops, bass, atmospheric elements and transitions.

Internal production status — DRAFT
The current build has been prepared and checked programmatically. Final listening, bass-tuning adjustments, native MPC playback, program-level effects/routing validation and commercial source-rights approval remain outstanding. Do not claim fully completed hardware mastering or testing.
