What is a Custom MPC Drum Expansion?
It is a made to order MPC library built around your drum references and workflow. You receive finished drum programs, the source WAV library, a custom browser identity and installation files instead of a generic folder of sounds.
What counts as one drum kit?
One kit is one finished, mapped and playable drum program. The kit count refers to complete programs, not a promise that every sound is unique to only one kit. Strong sounds may be layered, tuned or processed across several kits when that creates a more coherent expansion.
Which MPC models are supported?
The expansion is prepared for the modern MPC ecosystem, including current MPC standalone hardware, MPC Software, MPC Beats and compatible Force workflow. Exact compatibility with your model and MPC version is confirmed in the brief before production.
Does it work on an MPC2500 or MPC2000XL?
No. Those are legacy hardware samplers and do not use the modern .XPN expansion format. The MPC2500 style machine in the hero is a visual tribute to classic beatmaking hardware.
Do I need to send my own drum samples?
No. You can provide references only and the drum palette will be built around them. You may also provide your own recordings or legally cleared sounds when you want them included in the final expansion.
Are MIDI patterns included?
MIDI drum patterns are included in Signature and Masterwork. Starter focuses on the finished drum programs. Extra MIDI pattern packs can be added to any project by custom quote.
Are keygroups, melodies or drum breaks included?
The standard plans focus exclusively on drums. Melodic keygroups, loops, drum breaks, live recording and hybrid expansions can be added after the scope is reviewed and quoted separately.
How do revisions work?
Revisions refine the approved direction, balance or programming. They do not restart the expansion around a completely new set of references. Starter and Signature include one revision. Masterwork includes two.
How will I receive the files?
You receive a private download containing the .XPN installer, standalone expansion folder, source WAVs, cover artwork, installation guide and the usage terms for your selected plan.
Can I resell or share the expansion?
No. The sounds can be used in your own music productions, but the expansion, drum programs, MIDI files and raw audio may not be resold, shared, repackaged or redistributed as production content.
