Delivery, access and file help

Orders & Downloads

07
Are all Soul Chemist products digital?

Yes. Unless a product page clearly says otherwise, every product is delivered digitally. No physical item is shipped. You receive access electronically after your payment has been completed.

How will I receive my purchase?

Most products are delivered through the order confirmation page, a download email, your customer account or a digital delivery page. Very large libraries may use a secure private link and can require manual access approval before the files become available.

Why is my secure library access still pending?

Some large libraries are protected with private access to prevent link sharing and unauthorised distribution. Manual approvals are handled during support hours, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Madrid time. Your order remains valid while access is being prepared.

I did not receive my download email. What should I do?

First check your spam, junk and promotions folders. Confirm that the email used at checkout is correct. If the files are not available from your order page or customer account, contact support with your order number and the email used for the purchase.

Can I download my files again?

Use the original download email, order page or customer account whenever access remains available. Download links can have reasonable security limits, so store a backup of every purchase. If you lose access, contact support and the order can be verified.

My ZIP file is incomplete or will not open. What should I do?

Delete the incomplete file and download it again using a stable connection. Make sure your device has enough free storage and extract the archive with a current tool such as 7 Zip, WinRAR or Keka. If the problem continues, send your order number, device details and screenshots to support.

Can I download the packs on a phone or tablet?

Some devices can download and extract ZIP files, but a computer is strongly recommended for large packs and libraries. Desktop storage also makes it easier to organise the files and create a secure backup.

Choose the right format and workflow

Products & Compatibility

07
What is the difference between a sample pack, a drum kit, a bundle and an MPC expansion?

A sample pack focuses on melodic material, loops, textures, compositions or mixed creative sounds. A drum kit focuses on one shots, breaks and rhythmic material. A bundle combines several products at a better total value. An MPC expansion is prepared specifically for a compatible Akai MPC workflow.

Which product should I choose?

Choose Sample Packs for melodic inspiration and source material, Drums for one shots and breaks, Bundles for a wider collection at better value, MPC Expansions for an integrated MPC workflow, or the All Packs Library when you want the deepest complete sound source.

What file formats are included?

Most audio products are supplied as high quality WAV files. MPC expansions can include dedicated expansion files and organised content for the MPC workflow. Always check the individual product description because included formats can vary by product.

Are the WAV files compatible with my DAW?

Standard WAV files work with all major DAWs and most modern samplers, including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Pro Tools, Maschine, MPC and SP samplers. Product specific requirements are listed on the relevant page.

Do I need an MPC to use the sample packs or drum kits?

No. Standard sample packs and drum kits can be used in any compatible DAW or sampler that imports WAV files. You only need compatible MPC hardware or software for products sold specifically as MPC expansions.

Which MPC models are supported?

Compatibility can depend on the expansion, MPC operating system and installation method. Review the product description before purchasing and make sure your MPC software or standalone system is updated. Contact support before ordering if you are unsure about a specific model.

Can I listen before purchasing?

Where available, use the audio player, video demonstration and product description to understand the sound, style and included content. Because sound is subjective, review the previews carefully before completing your purchase.

Clear rights for commercial music

Licences & Usage

06
What does royalty free mean?

Royalty free means you can use the sounds in original music without paying recurring royalties to Soul Chemist, subject to the store terms and any licence included with the product. Royalty free does not mean copyright free.

Can I use the sounds in commercial releases?

Yes. Subject to the applicable licence, you can edit, chop, process and resample the audio, release music on streaming platforms, use completed works in audiovisual projects and provide completed productions to artists, clients, labels or publishers.

Can I sell beats made with Soul Chemist sounds?

Yes. You can use properly licensed sounds inside original completed beats and productions that you sell or license to artists and clients. You are selling your finished creative work, not the original source files.

Can I share, resell or redistribute the raw files?

No. You may not share purchased files with another producer, upload them to file sharing services, resell them, offer them as free downloads or use them to create another sample pack, drum kit or competing sound library.

Can I register music made with the samples in Content ID?

Do not register isolated, unmodified or substantially unmodified samples in automated rights systems. A sufficiently original completed composition may be distributed or registered only when it does not claim exclusive ownership of shared source material or generate false claims against other licensed users.

Are standard store products exclusive?

Standard royalty free products are normally licensed on a nonexclusive basis unless the product page or a separate written agreement states otherwise. Exclusive rights are only granted when they are clearly included in the specific product or custom plan.

Access options, content and updates

All Packs Library

05
What is the All Packs Sample Library Live?

It is the largest Soul Chemist sound source, with more than 80,000 premium WAV samples and more than 80 GB of drums, one shots, loops, textures, FX and melodic material organised for chopping, layering and resampling.

What is the difference between the three All Packs access options?

Annual Access provides one year of access to the complete current sample library. Lifetime Access adds permanent access plus future sample releases and updates. Lifetime Access plus MPC Expansions adds lifetime access to the sample library and the complete Soul Chemist MPC expansion collection.

Are MPC expansions included in every All Packs option?

No. MPC expansions are included only with the Lifetime Access plus MPC Expansions option. Annual Access and standard Lifetime Access cover the sample library without the MPC expansion collection.

Is the All Packs Library compatible with my setup?

The WAV library works with all major DAWs, Maschine, MPC, SP 404 and hardware samplers that import WAV files. Dedicated MPC expansion content is included only in the access option that explicitly includes MPC Expansions.

How are future All Packs updates delivered?

Future sample releases and updates are included with the Lifetime Access options as described on the product page. Access instructions are delivered through the protected library system. Keep the purchase email and use the same customer details when requesting support.

Briefs, production and exclusivity

Custom Studio

06
What custom services are available?

Soul Chemist offers Custom Sample Packs, Custom Drum Packs and Custom MPC Expansions. Each service begins with a detailed creative brief so the final library can be shaped around your references, workflow and project goals.

How does a custom order work?

Choose the service, complete the full request form and send your references. The brief is reviewed personally. You then receive an invoice, payment secures the production slot and production begins once the direction and payment have been confirmed.

How long does a custom project take?

The estimated production time depends on the selected service, plan, current queue and complexity of the brief. The current estimate is shown on the relevant custom service page and is confirmed after the request has been reviewed.

Are custom packs exclusive?

Exclusivity depends on the selected plan. Starter and Pro custom sample plans are nonexclusive, while Signature includes an exclusive usage licence for the custom material delivered for that project. Review the specific custom service page before submitting.

Can I request revisions?

Revision allowances depend on the selected plan and must remain within the original approved direction. A completely new sound, reference set or creative direction can require a separate quote.

Will you copy the exact sound from my references?

No. References are used to understand mood, era, groove, texture, BPM and production language. Protected audio is not copied or extracted. The goal is to create original material that responds to your direction.

Checkout, refunds and assistance

Payments & Support

05
Which payment methods are accepted?

Available payment methods are shown securely at checkout and can vary by country. Card payments, PayPal and supported accelerated payment methods may appear depending on your location and device.

Will I be charged taxes or currency conversion fees?

The checkout displays the applicable currency and any taxes collected by the store. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency conversion or processing fees, which are outside Soul Chemist control.

Can I get a refund on a digital product?

Digital purchases are generally final once the content has been delivered, made available or accessed. This does not remove mandatory consumer rights for content that is defective, corrupted, incomplete or not supplied as described. Review the Refund Policy before purchasing.

What happens if I purchased the same product twice or was charged incorrectly?

Contact support as soon as possible with both order numbers, the checkout email and proof of the charge. The transaction will be reviewed and an appropriate solution will be provided when a duplicate purchase or incorrect charge can be verified.

What information should I include when contacting support?

Include your order number, the email used at checkout, the product name, a clear description of the issue and screenshots where possible. Complete information makes it much faster to verify the purchase and restore access or replace missing files.
