A Soul Chemist licence grants permission to use covered sounds in qualifying finished productions. It does not guarantee approval by the YouTube Partner Programme, Content ID, a distributor, a streaming service or a social rights system. Each platform applies its own rules.

YOUTUBE & STREAMING SUMMARY

Release the finished track. Protect the source library.

You may upload, distribute and monetise original productions created with properly licensed Soul Chemist sounds. Raw samples and exposed library files remain protected.

YOU CAN

Publish and monetise finished work.

  • Upload original beats and songs to YouTube.
  • Distribute to Spotify, Apple Music and other DSPs.
  • Monetise authorised music and creator content.
  • Use finished tracks in Shorts and social media.
  • Earn master revenue through a distributor or label.
×
YOU CANNOT

Redistribute or overclaim the library.

  • Upload raw loops or pack folders as your catalogue.
  • Register non-exclusive samples as exclusively owned.
  • Claim other authorised users of the same sound.
  • Buy guaranteed streams or paid playlist placement.
  • Make false rights declarations.
THE RELEASE TEST

Would a listener experience this as your finished creative work?

A qualifying release contains your arrangement, production decisions and creative contribution. Uploading an exposed source loop or minimally repackaged library file is not permitted.

YOUTUBE UPLOADS

Finished original music can be uploaded and monetised.

The licence provides commercial permission for covered sounds, while YouTube separately evaluates originality, rights, channel quality and advertiser suitability.

01UPLOAD

Publish original productions

Upload completed beats, songs, visualisers, performances, tutorials and production content.

02MONETISE

Use the commercial licence

Monetise eligible videos when the channel and content satisfy YouTube’s separate requirements.

03DOCUMENT

Keep proof of rights

Save the invoice, order number, product and applicable licence.

04TRANSFORM

Add genuine creative value

Arrange, chop, layer, perform and process the material as part of your own track.

CHANNEL MONETISATION IS SEPARATE

A valid sample licence does not automatically qualify a channel for ad revenue.

YouTube reviews channel-wide patterns. Large volumes of near-identical, template-based or minimally varied uploads can create monetisation risk even when the audio is legally licensed.

TYPE-BEAT & STATIC-IMAGE VIDEOS

Permitted by the licence, but originality still matters.

A static image does not invalidate the sound licence. Use distinct original beats, accurate titles, useful descriptions and a recognisable visual identity instead of mass-repeating effectively identical uploads.

CONTENT ID & AUTOMATED RIGHTS

Distribution is allowed. Exclusive claiming is conditional.

YouTube requires exclusive rights to submitted reference material. Standard Soul Chemist sounds are generally non-exclusive and may be licensed to multiple customers.

PERMITTED

Distribute the finished song

Release and monetise the completed production. Commercial permission does not automatically create exclusive reference rights.

CHECK FIRST

Automated rights enrolment

Only activate YouTube Content ID, Meta, TikTok or similar systems when your distributor accepts the release and its non-exclusive content.

NOT PERMITTED

Claim the source sound

Do not submit raw samples, exposed loops or standard non-exclusive sounds as exclusive reference material.

ID
STANDARD-PRODUCT RULE

Never register the raw library or an exposed standard loop as exclusively owned audio.

A finished track may still be distributed. Automated claiming depends on the exact release and the current rules of the distributor or rights provider.

01

Read the claim

Check the claimant, matched section, territory and action.

02

Confirm your rights

Locate the order, licence and release information.

03

Contact the distributor

Ask them to correct a reference or whitelist an authorised channel where supported.

04

Dispute accurately

Challenge a claim only when your evidence genuinely supports it.

If your release claims another authorised user: Review and release the legitimate conflict promptly. Distributing first does not create ownership of a shared standard sample.
SPOTIFY · APPLE MUSIC · DSPs

Distribute through a provider that accepts your rights profile.

A distributor or label can request rights confirmation, metadata, artwork, songwriter details and proof for licensed samples.

01MASTER

Upload finished audio

Submit your final production, not a raw pack file or exposed loop.

02METADATA

Enter accurate credits

Use correct artist, title, producer and songwriter details.

03RIGHTS

Declare honestly

Do not state that every element is exclusive when standard samples are present.

04DESTINATIONS

Select eligible services

Remove any rights destination that requires exclusivity you do not hold.

05ARCHIVE

Save release records

Keep the licence, invoice, ISRC and submission correspondence.

ARTISTUse the correct primary and featured identities.
TITLEAvoid misleading association with another artist.
WRITERSDeclare actual songwriters under your agreements.
PRODUCERSAdd accurate production credits where supported.
STREAMING REVENUE

There is no universal guaranteed payment per stream.

Master royalties normally reach the rights holder through the distributor, label or licensor that delivered the release. Income depends on the service, territory, activity and your provider agreement.

ARTIFICIAL STREAMING

Never buy guaranteed streams or playlist placement.

Bots, scripts, stream farms and paid services promising guaranteed results can put the release, royalties and distributor account at risk.

×
GUARANTEED STREAMS

Do not purchase play counts

No legitimate service can guarantee authentic listener behaviour.

×
PLAYLIST GUARANTEES

Avoid pay-for-placement

Guaranteed inclusion can expose the release to manipulated traffic.

×
BOTS & SCRIPTS

Do not automate listening

Non-genuine activity may be filtered, removed or investigated.

REAL PROMOTION

Build genuine discovery

Use transparent advertising, outreach and editorial pitching.

STREAMS REMOVEDArtificial activity can be removed from totals.
ROYALTIES WITHHELDManipulated revenue may not be paid.
RELEASE REMOVEDA provider may take down affected music.
ACCOUNT ACTIONWarnings, fees or suspension may follow.
SHORT-FORM & SOCIAL AUDIO

Use the finished release across creator platforms.

Qualifying productions may be used in Shorts, Reels, TikTok, livestreams and social content. Automated rights delivery can require additional exclusivity.

RELEASE CHECKER

Can I upload or monetise this?

A platform or distributor can apply stricter requirements than the Soul Chemist licence.

PERMITTED

You may upload a finished original beat.

Use the licensed sounds as part of your own production and keep proof of purchase. Do not upload the original pack file by itself.

PROOF & RELEASE RECORDS

Keep one clearance folder for every release.

Good documentation helps with distributor reviews, YouTube claims, label requests and platform rights checks.

01

Order and invoice

Save the confirmation, order number and invoice.

02

Product and licence

Record the exact pack and applicable terms.

03

Project information

Keep the project, export and production notes.

04

Distribution record

Save the ISRC, submission and correspondence.

YOUTUBE & STREAMING FAQ

Answers before you upload.

Search by platform, monetisation issue or release type.

Can I upload beats made with Soul Chemist samples to YouTube? +

Yes. Upload your finished production, not an isolated source sample or unmodified pack file.

Can I monetise the YouTube video? +

The licence permits commercial use. Your channel and video must also satisfy YouTube’s current monetisation, copyright and advertiser rules.

Are static-image or type-beat videos allowed? +

They are permitted by the sound licence. Avoid mass-produced or near-identical uploads with little meaningful variation.

Can I release the music on Spotify and Apple Music? +

Yes. Deliver the finished master through a distributor or label and complete the rights declarations accurately.

Can I enable YouTube Content ID? +

Only when your rights and distributor satisfy exclusive-reference requirements. Never register raw standard samples or exposed non-exclusive loops as exclusively owned audio.

What should I do if my video receives a claim? +

Review the match, collect the order and licence, contact the distributor where relevant and dispute only when your evidence supports it.

What if my distributor claims another authorised producer? +

Release legitimate conflicting claims promptly. A shared standard sample does not allow either customer to block the other.

Can I send the release to TikTok, Instagram or Facebook? +

Yes when the distributor accepts the release for those destinations. Automated rights systems can require exclusive control.

Can I pay for guaranteed streams or playlists? +

No. Avoid bots, stream farms and services promising guaranteed plays or placement.

What proves that I can monetise the track? +

Keep the order, invoice, product name, applicable licence and release records.

Can I request confirmation for a distributor or label? +

Yes. Send support the order number, product, release and exact question. A store licence cannot guarantee a third-party platform decision.
